The CSE (AI & ML) program was established in 2020 with an initial intake of 60 students. Due to increasing demand and the growing importance of AI and ML, the intake was increased to 120 in 2021, 180 in 2022, 210 in 2024, and further to 270 in 2025, The program is meticulously designed to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills essential for careers in AI and ML.
The department is supported by a team of well-qualified, experienced, and research-oriented faculty members, who are dedicated to delivering quality education and mentoring students in innovative technologies and real-world applications. The department is also equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories that provide hands-on training in AI, ML, and related domains, fostering experiential learning and practical skill development.

As industries continue to embrace AI-driven solutions, the demand for skilled professionals in this domain remains high, making the CSE (AI & ML) program a strategic choice for aspiring engineers.
Dr. Sirisha K. L. S. is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator with over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She currently serves as the Associate Professor and Head of the Department of CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) and is committed to academic excellence, research innovation, industry collaboration, and holistic student development.
She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). Her doctoral research focused on Advanced Test Case Generation and Dynamic Test Reconfiguration for Web Services.
Her areas of specialization include Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Software Testing. She has published research papers in reputed SCI, Scopus, and UGC CARE-indexed journals, presented her work at national and international conferences, and filed multiple patents, encouraging innovation among faculty and students.
As the Head of the Department, she has successfully led initiatives in academic planning, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), NBA and NAAC accreditation, industry collaborations, faculty development, research, placements, and student skill enhancement. She strongly believes in bridging the gap between academia and industry through experiential learning and emerging technologies.
Under her leadership, the department continues to achieve significant milestones in research, patent filings, academic performance, placements, and student participation in technical competitions.
